Annual Darrell Green Celebrity Golf Classic

Darrell Green has had a long history with Youth Life Foundation of Richmond. The Hall of Fame Washington Redskins former football player founded the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation in Washington, DC in 1988. In 2001, Heather Goodlett, then Heather Brown, approached Mr. Green about starting a Richmond chapter of the organization, and Youth Life Foundation of Richmond was born.

Although the DC branch of the organization has since changed names and structure, Darrell continues to support Youth Life Foundation of Richmond in many ways, most notably through his participation in this annual Celebrity Golf Classic! He headlines our field of celebrity guests and helps us raise a significant portion of our annual budget through this exciting event each year, so that we can continue our work.

The 18th Annual Darrell Green Celebrity Golf Classic will take place Monday, May 19th 2025 (with a Sunday Night Celebrity Shootout the night before— May 18th)!
